Yesterday we took our kayak to Animas River, it was such a beautiful day and experience.. We only tipped over once :)But then today we learned that there was a huge disaster in a mine up north and supposedly spilled into the river and now flowing towards Durango. It’s sad and people are standing on the bridge waiting for it to come.. It was so different from yesterday when everyone was out tubing, rafting and just enjoying the water. #durango #colorado #environment #spills #animasriver
