Brief but productive stay in Raleigh

Raleigh is like our second home now.. we always enjoy going back and seeing my brother, the Gi Gym old crew and all of the great friends we left behind. Also it’s a good time for me to stop in and see the old co workers, and checking in to see if I still have a job 🙂 (I’ve been very lucky to have this opportunity, so I will keep working my butt off from afar, if it means being able to keep this lifestyle going).

So our stay consisted of a lot of fun but also a lot of work for me. Got caught up in doctor’s visits, got Lasik in one eye (yup, just one), and took a weekend class to get my motorcycle license! I must say… very productive 🙂

Here is a pic of “some” of the Raleigh peeps, our old hangout and favorite gym (GI GYM), and my motorcycle license! 🙂

When passing through we always make sure to go through our checklist, since Raleigh was our last stick & bricks home base. We make sure to see the awesome Raleigh friends, go to Doctor checkups, make sure our House is still there (check with renters), maybe make it to GI Gym and most important hang out with Juan.

We also got to meet Eric and Brittany, check out their site and travels here! RVwanderlust.com . They were definitely an inspiration on how we should try to be better bloggers 🙂  We had alot of fun and quickly became friends, we would take our routine walks around the NC state fairgrounds campground area and compare our goal achievements. They also got meet my brother and Juan, which happens to live there and always has great recommendations on where the cool hangouts are, so soon we were out hanging out in Raleigh’s good finds.
